• The magazine title “Kerrang!” emphasises that the word itself is a sound of a guitar and this shows that the magazine is a rock magazine.
• The use of the capital letters also emphasise that the sound is loud and the use of punctuation of the exclamation mark also shows this.
• The colour black shows that the target audience is aimed at people who have an interest in rock music and could possibly be aimed at emos and Goths.
• The use of cracks also shows that the magazine is “out of control”. This could also interpret that as there is an exclamation mark, this can show how loud the music was.
